Website Launch: Control Over My Work

Photo taken by Kenji during a train surf in “Yes officer, I’m going to jump…”

I made this website to have control over my work. No more restrictions, removals or any other youtube-related nonsense. The output on the channel will not change, but all videos (and more) can be found here and viewed without interruption. New videos will be available on the website couple days before they are shared on youtube. Main features:

Videos

  • Majority of the videos here are re-rendered and re-uploaded to vimeo's servers. The ones I couldn't re-render due to hard drive failure, I downloaded at highest possible quality.

Not on youtube

  • The "not on youtube" section features videos that have been removed, never uploaded or are unlisted on the channel. I will update this section periodically as I still have a few videos I have not shared anywhere before.

Music

  • The music section features my albums with organized tracklists, lyrics and music videos so everything is easy to access from the same page. I will also bring my older songs, that are not on the safety/danger albums, to website eventually.

Blog

  • On the blog section, I will post answers to most frequently asked questions (next post will be my journey gear list) or any other relevant info. For inspiration I check youtube comments or the shiey subreddit.

This project took a few months to finish, mainly due to the re-rendering of videos. I am very proud of what I made and I think it is a great base for my work. I wanted to keep everything as simple and easily accessible as possible. I am planning to add more features and forms of content in the future.

Thank you for the support!
